Accessible Parking
All vehicles parked on campus must display a valid campus permit. An ADA (Disabled) placard issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles is not a substitute for a campus permit. The placard, however, entitles you to park in spaces not otherwise available to campus visitors, staff or students. You may purchase a permit from one of the permit dispensers located throughout campus.
Current Campus Construction Impacts
UC Santa Barbara is in an unprecedented era of construction and campus renewal. We understand the impact that this has on our campus and Facilities Management sincerely regrets any inconvenience to our visitors, faculty, staff and students. If you have any questions please contact the Deputy ADA Compliance Officer (805) 893-7025 or (805) 893-2770.
Reporting a Barrier
The University seeks to maintain an accessible “path of travel” between and around the public areas of campus. The campus community or any visitor may contact the Deputy ADA Compliance Officer (805) 893-7025 or (805) 893-2770 to report architectural or structural barriers on campus. The Deputy ADA Compliance Officer coordinates review and remediation, where achievable, with Campus Design & Facilities. In addition, questions regarding temporary construction or vendor activities and associated safety issues should also be communicated to the Deputy ADA Compliance Officer.
